PORDENONE – Sunday 26 July 2026 took place at the Parco San Valentino A mini festival dedicated to Heavy Metal, an event that attracted all lovers of powerful, fast sounds. […] Entry was slightly delayed due to the severe weather in the early afternoon, but fortunately, this did not prevent the event from proceeding as planned.
The first to take the stage were Rivetskull, a band from Seattle who, with three albums under their belt, call themselves "Heady Metal" due to their thoughtful lyrics. Musically, the band relies on solid, classically inspired metal that entertained the audience for half an hour, demonstrating their solidity and empathy. […]
Compact band with excellent sounds, which draws from their entire repertoire, starting with “Enlighten Me/Spirit never die” from their debut album […] up to the songs from the new album metalmorphosis Just released, with a special dedication on "Through the Storm" for the bad weather they escaped. An hour-long set without fail that entertained those present while awaiting His Majesty. Yngwie Malmsteen.
Night has now fallen, and like any self-respecting star, Malmsteen keeps us waiting. The intro begins, and immediately it's "Rising Force" in a furious succession of guitar scales. […] Malmsteen, absolute master of the stage […] his touch seems untouched by the passing of time; physically fit, he maintains his feline poses and tires out his roadie with constant guitar changes. […]
Great evening then which gave us a really nice metal festival, thank you Pordenone Blues Festival & Co….we need more!
