«Pordenone Blues & Co. Festival: Skunk Anansie Sets the Park alight San Valentino»

PORDENONE – The 35th edition of the Pordenone Blues & Co. Festival with the Skunk Anansie concert, preceded by Grove's performance, who with his energy and his incisive songs received the applause of the over 5000 spectators present at the Park San ValentinoThen came she, the true queen of the evening: Skin, with her extraordinary vocal power, who, together with her band, gave the audience a racy, top-notch performance, inciting the crowd to sing along, to howl at the full moon that lit up a perfectly clear sky, to raise their arms and sing along to the songs. A finale with a bang, as they say, for a festival that every year raises the bar of the quality of its contents and of the great organizational capacity, demonstrated during all the dates and events and in particular on the evening of Sunday 26th, when bad weather risked compromising the concert of Masterplan, Rivetskull and Yngwie MalmsteenOnly thanks to the staff's promptness was it possible to stick to the schedule, albeit with a delay.

There was also a large turnout for the event on Friday the 24th at the Monologue in Piazza della Motta for "Blues, Food, Wine & More – The Music of the Earth." This showcased the region's finest products, with many producers from across the region offering some very unique tastings, which were greatly appreciated by the attendees. Fabrizio Nonis, known as "Bekér," gave a powerful speech, sharing his story and offering insights and curiosities.

Il Pordenone Blues & Festival ended with great success but the organization is not resting on its laurels: it is already thinking about 2027, the year in which Pordenone will be the Italian Capital of Culture, and will have a 36th edition full of excitement.
