A special evening to inaugurate the festival with an exceptional super band: The Kings of Blues, five legendary musicians who bring decades of experience on the world's biggest stages to the stage.
The lineup reunites Tony Coleman (drums) and Russell Jackson (bass), both veterans of B.B. King’s band, Waldo Weathers (saxophone and vocals), who spent twenty years with James Brown, Grammy Award winner and Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame member Vasti Jackson (guitar), and Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne (piano), fresh off the 2024 Blues Grammy Award winner for “Best Blues Pianist.”
An explosive sound that blends blues, funk and groove into an unforgettable live experience. These artists have shared the stage with legends such as BB King, James Brown, Albert King, Etta James and many other giants of music.

Evening program:
During the evening the Palazzo del Fumetto will be transformed into our House of Blues with the inauguration of the 34th Pordenone Blues & Co. Festival 2025, of the Fender Vintage Museum and followed by a concert by The Kings of Blues.
