THE DARKNESS. Highly anticipated and always much loved by the Italian public, the enthralling British rock band has signed global hits such as “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”, “One Way Ticket” and “Everybody Have a Good Time” and memorable albums such as “Permission to Land” and “One Way Ticket to Hell… And Back”.
The Darkness, led by the charismatic Justin Hawkins, boast a career full of recognition, gold records for their hits and countless awards, including 3 Brit Awards, 2 MTV Music Awards, Kerrang Awards.
In 2021 they released their seventh album of unreleased songs “Motorheart” (on the Cooking Vinyl label), composed of nine powerful and energetic tracks, which confirmed the extraordinary skill of the musicians, great live entertainers.
THE AMAZONS, a four-piece band from Reading (UK), have risen to the forefront of the British rock scene armed with formidable riffs, epic choruses and explosive live shows. Following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2017, the group have been defined as one of the UK's hottest rock bands, with two of their albums charting in the Top 10 in less than two years, achieving sold out tours in Worldwide. In September 2022, after supporting Royal Blood on their UK and European tour, The Amazons will return with their highly anticipated, anthemic third album, “How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me?”. The album, preceded by the single "Bloodrush", is both a love letter and a cry of appeal. Expansive, uplifting, sun-drenched, produced with Jim Abbiss (Bombay Bicycle Club, Arctic Monkeys, Adele), the Amazons emerge from the darkness of 2019's “Future Dust,” full of a lust for life and post-pandemic optimism.
OVERLAPS is an alternative rock band of Pordenone, which was born in 2016 and is currently formed by Gloria Piccinin (vocals), Stefano Galioto (bass) and Marco Marinato (guitar).
The band's 2016 debut single “On Monday” spent six weeks in the Virgin Radio charts.
The debut album, eponymously titled “Overlaps”, was released in September 2018 and was produced by Fabio Trentini (Guano Apes, Donots), who brought his mix of 90s rock and crossover to the production. In the same year Overlaps had the great honor of opening concerts for The Rasmus on their "Dark Matter" European tour: 27 lives in twelve different countries, in 37 days.
Following the success of the tour, the band played 15 headline shows across Europe and performed at the 2019 Rockstock Festival, Newcastle University.
Their new song “White Line” (Sony Publishing/Believe), the first single from the album which will be released in the autumn, marks a new era for the band. The sound is alt-pop with electronic influences, supported by a strong rhythm and a powerful synth bass.
The song takes inspiration from the days of lockdown, when we were all stuck without live music and overwhelmed by broken dreams.
