Two-time Grammy Award winner, multi-instrumentalist, singer with a unique voice and rock icon, Steve Winwood is a member of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
He has been creating music for over fifty years and has always remained a primary figure in rock 'n' roll, a respected innovator who has helped achieve some of the most celebrated milestones in the genre. Starting in his teens, Winwood enjoyed chart success with the Spencer Davis Group, co-founded Traffic and later joined Blind Faith, often considered rock's first genuine "supergroup" with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker of Cream and former Family bassist Rick Grech.
He has collaborated in the studio and live with George Harrison, David Gilmour, Billy Joel, Lou Reed, Phil Collins, Jim Capaldi, Tom Petty, Christina Aguilera, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval, Third World, John Mayall, James Brown, Chic, Alex Harvey, The Who, Tina Turner, Paul Weller, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Joe Cocker, Howlin' Wolf, Blues Brothers Band just to name a few. Over the last two decades, Steve Winwood has had a highly successful solo career spanning various musical genres and continues to be one of Britain's finest musicians and singers and one of the most important and influential artists in all of popular music.
