A memorable evening will be the one that STEVE HACKETT, legendary former guitarist of Genesis, will bring, between revisitations and new songs, to Pordenone, where he will perform entirely “Selling England by the Pound”, some songs taken from “Spectral Mornings” – in the year of its 40th anniversary, as well as the timeless Genesis classics and the songs from the new album.
«I am thrilled to present in its entirety my favorite of all Genesis albums, “Selling England by the Pound”», explains Hackett. «When it came out in 1973, it immediately caught John Lennon's attention. At that moment I felt that I was playing guitar in the best band in the world."
On stage Steve Hackett will be accompanied by exceptional musicians: Roger King (Gary Moore, The Mute Gods) on keyboards; on drums, percussion and vocals Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson); Rob Townsend (Bill Bruford) on sax, flute and percussion; Jonas Reingold (The Flower Kings) on bass and guitar; Nad Sylvan (Agents of Mercy) on vocals.
