If anyone has a never-ending story, that someone is Peter “Pete” Ronald Brown, poet, author, record producer and singer with a never-ending story.
Eric Clapton described him as the "fourth member" of the Cream supergroup.
Consider that he began as a poet in 1960, immediately collaborating with many musicians including Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, the New Departures of Mike Horovitz, Graham Bond, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Ian Lynn, Vivian Stanshall, Peter Green, Neal Shon and many others.
In 1966 when Cream was formed, he was called to collaborate with them by Jack Bruce and together they wrote most of Cream's repertoire, including "I Feel Free", "White Room" and with Clapton's collaboration "Sunshine of Your Love ”.
After Cream's demise, Pete continued his collaboration with Jack, resulting in five albums. The masterpiece “Theme for an imaginary western” is remembered from this period.
In his long history Pete has published several books of poetry, and has formed many bands (first of all Piblokto!) where musicians such as John McLaughlin, Binky McKenzie, Laurie Allan, Pete Bailey have played.
He made his latest contribution this year, writing all the lyrics for "Novum", an album just released by Procol Harum.
A Pordenone, Pete will sing all his masterpieces accompanied by none other than Malcolm Bruce, son of Jack Bruce on guitar and keyboards, Jeff Allen (Bonnie Tyler, Mick Tyler, Van Morrison) on drums, John Michael McKenzie (Eurythmics, Bob Dylan, The Pretenders, Peter Green etc.) on bass, Mohammed Nazam Siddiqi (Trevor Horn, Orphy Robinson, Tony Remy) on guitar.
