Max Prandi is one of those historic bluesmen born and raised in that fertile area of the lower Po Valley which, since the immediate post-war period, has nurtured and cultivated some of the best blues talents who have graced the national scenes. Today, having reached the peak of a glorious artistic career, he can boast collaborations with important blues artists such as Fabio Treves, Arthur Miles, RL Burnside, Ronnie Jones, Cooper Terry. Inspired by his love for the North Hill Mississippi Sound and for all the Down Home Blues artists, often included in Fat Possum productions, he created the project “CHA TU KINGS” with the characteristic bass-free formula, which makes the band's sound sparse and torrid at the same time. At the moment he is looking for a label that will print/distribute/promote the cd of the same name.
