Masterplan
Before Malmsteen, Masterplan will perform their only Italian show and they don't need any long introductions: they are one of the mainstays of the melodic power metal European. Founded in 2002 by two former key members of Helloween (guitarist and visionary Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch), the band redefined the boundaries of the genre, fusing the power of German power metal with a melodic sensibility and a sophisticated, modern hard rock approach.
Since their dazzling self-titled debut in 2003, Masterplan have proven that their project was anything but a passing “supergroup.” Iconic tracks like Enlighten Me e Crawling From Hell They became instant classics, cementing the band's reputation thanks also to Jørn Lande's extraordinary voice.
Over the course of a career spanning over twenty years, the band has released milestones such as aeronautics (2005) and Time to Be King (2010), constantly evolving their sound without ever losing that trademark made of steel riffs, epic keyboards and unforgettable choruses.
