Keb' Mo' arrives in Italy on a single unmissable date to present his latest album, “That hot pink blues”, a true tribute to his fans. Singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, producer, actor, mentor and excellent performer, Keb' Mo' is a true American icon. In Italy, which is rare to see, he will perform with his full band.
His post-modern blues spans different eras and genres including pop, folk, rock and jazz. He has guested on records by such greats as India Aire, Marcus Miller, Natalie Cole, Bonnie Raitt, Solomon Burke, Ray Charles, BB King, Buddy Guy, The Dixie Chicks, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, and the global Playing music movement for Change.
His 11 albums earned him three Grammy Awards for best blues album in 1997 (Just Like You), 1999 (Slow Down) and 2005 (Keep It Simple). He has eight Grammy nominations, including country song of the year “I Hope,” and three in 2014 for “Blues Americana.” He has been awarded 11 Blues Fondation Awards and 6 BMI Awards.
