SURFER JOE & HIS BOSS COMBO (I)
It's all about surf musicLorenzo Surfer Joe is one of the major supporters of modern surf music, he has participated in practically all the themed events on the world circuit, from the Surfer Joe Summer Festival in Livorno, from the SurfGuitar101 Convention in Los Angeles, to the Tiki Oasis in San Diego up to the Dutch North Sea Surf Festival. He has played with big-name musicians in the genre such as Daddy-O Grande, John Blair and Paul Johnson, taking the stage over 1000 times in the last 15 years. He lived for 7 years in Antigua where he founded the Wadadli Riders, the first and only surf band from the Caribbean. The Boss Combo is the continuation of the work of the Wadadli Riders, with a band renewed in 2011 and a decidedly more aggressive impact aimed at early surfing, Dick Dale style. The songs are interpreted in a powerful way, moving from more violent tones to softer and lighter sounds.
