Ian Siegal

A career that began in the blues clubs of Berlin took the London-based singer and songwriter Ian Siegal on tour in the USA with Otis Redding jr., in the Caribbean with singer Dana Gillespie and Larry Garner and, throughout Europe, with artists of the caliber of Eddie Kirkland , Phil Guy, Sugar Blue, Nappy Brown, Catfish Keith and even with flamenco legend Raimundo Amador.
Ian Siegal today is fully integrated into the European blues circuit. He can be heard with his fantastic band, or as a formidable soloist on his 20s National Steel Guitar and even as a front man with the acclaimed Lee Sankey Group. He recently completed his latest CD – “I shall be standing in the morning” and has already been compared by critics to Tom Waits, Van Morrison, Dr. John and Bruce Springsteen.
Ian Siegal has currently been chosen by former Rolling Stones Bill Wyman as the opening act for his European shows, confirming the growing popularity of this new British Blues star.
