Description: From Maniago, a reference city for the populations of the Cellina, Colvera, Meduna Valleys, we will get in touch with its historic blacksmith activity that has made it famous throughout the world for its knives and more. In Montereale we will have the opportunity to admire the works of famous artists of the past and more; we will then enter the Cellina Valley where we will admire splendid natural environments and where we will be illustrated ancient and interesting traditions. With a delightful journey on a road train we will travel on the ancient road carved into the Dolomite rock to then reach Barcis, where we will travel along the coastal road of its lake contained in a beautiful amphitheater.

Description: The Magredi, recognized as a protected natural area for their peculiar richness and diversity of flora, will be explained and illustrated to us in the specific “Osservatorio dei Magredi”. The emigration museum located in Cavasso Nuovo will remind us of the way of life in the past through the migration of citizens to countries around the world. In Fanna we will visit works of art of great value and discover the richness of the genetic diversity of plants in the laboratory of ancient apples. Finally, in Val Colvera, we will be enchanted by visiting the town of Poffabro, awarded the title of “World Heritage” by UNESCO.

Description: Through the Cellina Valley, rich in water, geological stratifications, enchanting panoramas, we will reach the foot of the Friulian Dolomites where we will have the opportunity to skirt a succession of artificial lakes, until we reach the ponderous work of the Vajont dam that resisted the terrible disaster caused by the gigantic landslide of Mount Toc. We will have the opportunity to see various towns and areas where tourism has its development because it is favored by opportunities for splendid walks, excursions, famous climbs (such as those on the tower of Val Montanaia) and quiet stays in picturesque towns. We will also visit the historical museums until we reach the one dedicated to dinosaurs of which geological finds have left traces up to today.
