The largest traveling Fender museum in the world is back. From July 14th to 27th, at the Palazzo del Fumetto, it will be possible to visit for free the exhibition that has already fascinated lovers of the famous instrument brand. Another great event that will make Pordenone even more the guitar capital for the period of Pordenone Blues & Co. Festival.
It was 1950 when an electric guitar appeared for the first time in a music store: that date marked the beginning of modern music. It was created by the revolutionary Leo Fender, founder of the historic Fender brand based in California: his innovation was to create simple and practical instruments, functional for all musicians. Synonymous with quality, eclecticism and craftsmanship, the Fender Factory became a world leader in music, creating musical instruments still in use today; it produced the first electric guitar and the first electric bass in history.
Il Fender Vintage Museum retraces the golden age of Fender: at the Palazzo del Fumetto, all the models of electric instruments and amplifiers built from 1951 to 1974, the year of its sale to another company, will be exhibited.
On display are catalogs, posters, documents, memorabilia and original photographs of the time that complement and add value to the Fender Vintage Museum. An unmissable journey into the history of music aimed at all enthusiasts, a journey of colors, scents, vibrations and emotions even with your eyes closed.
