Here we are, we start again with a fantastic energetic preview of the Pordenone Blues Festival: it will be the The DI MAY CONNECTION and Superdownhome the protagonists of the live preview of the festival, the 24 July 2020 in ?Roveredo in Piano (PN) (Piazza Roma Via Giosuè Carducci, 15).
The event, ad free entry, will begin at 21:00 pm.

Marco Di Maggio, considered by the specialized press as one of the best R'n'R, Rockabilly guitarists in the world, is the leader and founder of The Di Maggio Conection and the only Italian artist elected "Honorary Member" of the American Rockabilly Hall of Fame. This power trio mixes with great energy and a masterful instrumental technique all the wildest faces of R'n'R, Rockabilly-Core, NeoSurf-Rock, Swing, in an explosive mixture.
The band, which features Matteo Giannetti on double bass and Marco Barsanti on drums, two great musicians with international collaborations, boasts performances in 24 countries, from the USA to China, has performed in prestigious festivals and has collaborated with over 70 international artists, including such as: Terry Williams (drummer of Dire Straits), DJ Fontana (drummer of Elvis Presley), Dave Roe (bassist of Johnny Cash), Slim Jim Phantom (drummer of the Straycats), Johnny Farina (Santo & Johnny), Billy Burnette (Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty), just to name a few.
Marco Di Maggio with his various projects has created 14 albums produced in the USA, Germany, Finland, Italy, a much appreciated educational video, a video clip and participation in over 40 international compilations.
In addition to The DiMaggio Connection, on stage at the Pordenone Blues Festival will be performed by Superdownhome (Henry Sauda, Beppe Facchetti), an extraordinary duo of the latest generation that draws inspiration from the traditions of rural blues contaminated by rock'n'roll, country, folk and punk. Despite being a band that was formed recently, they already have several videos and albums under their belt, two of which were produced by Popa Cubby and which also feature him as a guest on a couple of songs together with Charlie Musselwhite. In 2019 they won the finals of the International Blues Challenge which took place at Pordenone Blues Festival going to represent Italy in Memphis in the USA for the IBC. They opened all the dates of the Italian tour of Fantastic Negrito and many live of Popa Chubby in Europe. In June of the following year their “Blues Case Scenario” was released by the record company Warner Music Italia.
