The twice-nominated American rock blues band Grammy, led by the voice of Jay Buchanan, after the sold out at the Alcatraz in Milan last October, will present at the Pordenone Blues & Co. Festival the new studio album “Lightbringer” – released on October 20, 2023 – and will play fan-favorite classics.
The band, featuring Jay Buchanan on vocals, Scott Holiday on guitar, David Baste on bass and Mike Miley on drums, offers a show of pure adrenaline, ranging from blues rock to hard rock.
I Rival Sons they made “Darkfighter” and “Lightbringer” during the same recording sessions throughout 2021 and once again recorded with longtime producer Dave Cobb. At the beginning of the summer the band released the album DARKFIGHTER with unanimous acclaim from the industry. Classic Rock said: “DARKFIGHTER may be the masterpiece of the Rival Sons”, while GLIDE Magazine commented: “DARKFIGHTER is a hard rock album that condenses what i Rival Sons they know how to do it well." At the same time, the band has amassed millions of streams with songs “Nobody Wants To Die,” “Bird in the Hand,” “Rapture” and more.
They will be the Creeping Jean to open the concert of Rival Sons of July 8th. From Brighton (UK) with their modern sound with a strong 60s and 70s rock inspiration they will make you dance and jump while waiting for Jay Buchanan and his companions.
At the opening of the evening, the Sinners Congregation with their music characterized by solid rhythms, aggressive guitar riffs, all linked by hypnotic melodies of voices and keyboards.
