1961. Bob Dylan, a young man from Minnesota, arrives at Woody Guthrie, his dying idol. He plays, and enchants Woody and Pete Seeger: it is clear, he is a genius. In New York he explodes between poetry and protest, between turbulent love affairs with Sylvie and Joan Baez. In 1965, the electric turning point: he leaves militant folk for a new visionary lyricism. The Village accuses him of betrayal, but the world crowns him.
