The evening of July 4, 2023 will be all about rock Pordenone Blues & Co. with theonly date in Italy of the impetuous and energetic Airbourne, preceded on stage by the surprising rock'n'roll of Royal Republic.
- Airbourne are an Australian hard rock band formed in Warrnambool in 2003 by brothers Joel O'Keeffe on lead vocals and guitar and Ryan O'Keeffe on drums. The lineup was completed with Justin Street on bass and vocals and David Roads on rhythm guitar and vocals. In 2017, however, Roads amicably resigned and Matthew Harrison took his place. The band's debut album, Runnin' Wild, was released in June 2007, certified silver in the UK, entered the top 30 of the ARIA Albums chart, appeared on the US Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart United Kingdom, France, Austria and Switzerland. Their second album, No Guts. No glory, released in March 2010, reached the top 20 in Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Finland, Greece, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as entering at no. 31 in the UK and in the Top 100 of the US Billboard 200. The third studio album, Black Dog Barking, was released in May 2013 and reached number 17 in Australia and the top 20 in Austria, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as the top 100 in the UK, Spain, Norway and France. In October 2016 Airbourne released their fourth album, Breakin' Outta Hell, which reached the top 5 in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, #9 in the UK and the top 20 in Australia. It is estimated that the band has played more than 1000 concerts since its formation, including multiple appearances at some of the world's biggest festivals, including Wacken, Download, Hellfest, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

To open the evening we know the Royal Republic, the masters of Swedish rock'n'roll. Trained musicians with a killer instinct for great hooks, voracious music nerds with an appetite that spans pop, garage rock, heavy metal, Americana, hip-hop and just about everything in half. Is this perhaps the most eclectic rock band in the world? Probably yes.
Since meeting at the Malmö Academy Of Music in 2007 – before touring the world with hit singles Tommy Gun and Full Steam Spacemachine – Royal Republic have cultivated a label-busting “anything goes” spirit of gender. No borders, no limitations. One minute they'll have you listening to irresistible sugary melodies, and the next they'll tear your face off by overwhelming you with crushing drums, distorted guitars and driving rhythms.
