ARMO means Arnica Mountain; 1191 is the altitude where the Agricultural Company Conzato Giovanni & C. grows this plant by hand, using organic methods. This area is located among the pastures of Piancavallo, in the Castaldia area, along the “Passeggiata delle Malghe” path.

Arnica is a medicinal plant known for hundreds of years for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bruise properties. Most of the Arnica montana used for the preparation of cosmetic products comes from spontaneous growth; for this reason in nature it is in danger of extinction throughout the European Alpine arc.

Arnica cultivation can preserve this important plant from extinction; ARMO1191, according to industry experts, is currently the largest known Arnica montana cultivation in Europe. This project was born from the desire to preserve natural mountain habitats; to have a high-quality raw material; to create products with the maximum concentration of active ingredient and a controlled supply chain.

All ARMO1191 products are natural cosmetics without parabens, petrolatum, silicones, colorants, preservatives, synthetic perfumes, animal substances. For this reason in 2021 the company was awarded with the Oscar Green FVG of Coldiretti for the Sustainability and Ecological Transition category.

Since 2016, the company has been directly marketing its products under its own brand, made only with its ultra-concentrated raw material; the harvest is done by hand, the processing and production of the finished product is carried out on site, all Made in Italy. Since 2019 the company has obtained the ICEA organic certification as IT BIO 006 E3139 operator. The motto of the ARMO1191 owners is: “Pain? You need a flower!
