PROGRAM AND DETAILS:
Let yourself slide on the crystalline waters of Lake Barcis, where the emerald green of the basin meets the golden reflections of the sun setting behind the peaks of Valcellina.
This trial experience is designed for those who want to learn canoeing in complete relaxation, enjoying the silence of nature as it prepares for rest. Paddling gently, you'll admire the village of Barcis reflected in the water and discover hidden corners, such as the entrance to the evocative caves or the river's ascent, visible only from this privileged perspective.
What awaits you:
- Slow atmosphere: a calm and regenerating pace, away from the chaos, ideal for couples or small groups
- Safety and simplicity: initial technical briefing to learn the basics of paddling, with stable kayaks and canoes suitable even for beginners
- Postcard-like landscapes: the contrast between the intense blue of the water and the surrounding mountain range that turns orange and purple at sunset.
At 8.45pm, for those who wish, dinner at:

The proposal:
- Tasting of local cured meats and cheeses

- In case of rain the activity will be postponed or cancelled.
- The route is not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers.
- Dogs: Not allowed at this event
- There are no age limits, but you must have sufficient motor skills to maneuver the canoe. The activity is low-intensity.
- Children under 10 can participate if accompanied; children under 10 can participate in a tandem canoe (4 available)
- Technical equipment will be provided (life jacket, paddle and kayak)
- Anyone weighing more than 90 kg is asked to report this so that we can better organize the boats.
Recommended clothing:
- Swimsuit/shorts and t-shirt
- Footwear: pool slippers or, better yet, beach shoes
- No sneakers (bulky and uncomfortable for getting in/out of the kayak)
It is mandatory to bring a complete change of clothes (including shoes).
In case of cool weather, a K-way is recommended.
